Beginning in 2019, the CLCDC introduced a program to provide high quality outdoor benches that view the lake at Fireman’s Beach and from Water Street.
The benches include a permanent concrete base and a permanent bronze plaque to memorialize the donor’s family member for the life of the bench. These benches are very inviting and are used by sightseers to rest and take in a beautiful view of Conneaut Lake. The CLCDC has arranged for the “adoption” of 14 benches starting in 2019 at a value of over $40,000.00 in town improvements and increased local aesthetic appeal.
