2018 Barbara J Season Has Ended

The 2018 cruising season of the historical Barbara J paddle-wheeler has concluded.

The Christmas "Trees-of-Light" cruises were run from November 23 through December 9, providing enjoyment to over 900 passengers. Unfortunately, some of the cruises were cancelled due to mechanical or weather issues. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope those who could not make the beautiful winter trip around the lake will join us next year. We continuously work to improve the boat to reduce the possibility of breakdowns, but she is an old and temperamental lady. We appreciate your understanding.

A special thanks to our fantastic Captain and 1st Mate....Clair and Chub.

On behalf of our all-volunteer Barbara J Cruises organization, "Thank You" for your patronage and support.

Our goals remain (1) maintaining Barbara J cruises on Conneaut Lake, for the pleasure of the public and (2) giving back to our community, by donating all profits to the improvement and maintenance of Conneaut Lake Borough and Fireman's Beach.

You'll be hearing from us in the Spring regarding our plans for the 2019 season  cruises.
